Congratulations, Richard!

As of May 31, 2023, Brown Edwards' partner, Richard Yancey will be officially retired!

Richard joined Brown Edwards as a partner in 2018 with the acquisition of Harrisonburg, VA firm, Yancey & Bowman.

He has over 40 years of professional accounting and tax experience. His practice focus was in taxation, business consulting, and tax-controversy representation.

“I appreciate the opportunity to work with all the Brown Edwards people. I will miss them in retirement.”

Richard is looking forward to spending the cold months in southwest Florida, playing golf, knocking a few places off his travel bucket list, and sailing.
