Meet BE Director, Jessica White

Jessica started her career at BE as an Associate in the Lynchburg, VA office and in 2023, was promoted to Director.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in anthropology from William & Mary and her A.A.S. in Accounting from Central Virginia Community College. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA).

We interviewed Jessica to really get to know her, outside of her profession, and we were surprised to learn that she has over 50 houseplants! She enjoys watching them grow, propagating, and sharing with friends.

Where are you from and where did you grow up?

I am a Lynchburg native.

What are some of your hobbies?

I enjoy camping in our travel trailer with my husband and 2 young boys.

What is one food you can’t live without and why??

Coffee!!! It just doesn't feel like your day has started until you get a cup of good coffee.

Why did you choose a career in public accounting?

Public accounting is never boring! There is always something new (audit standards, new clients, testing issues, etc.). I enjoy training new staff, fostering client relationships, and working in the EBP niche.
