Let’s ask him a few questions:
Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I was born in Baltimore, MD (Go Ravens!). My family relocated to Harrisonburg, VA when I was young and I grew up there. My parents and sister all still live in Harrisonburg.
Do you have any hobbies? If yes, tell us about them.
I have a bunch of hobbies but I can’t do any of them because my wife and I are so busy with our three kids! My kids all swim year-round competitively so we spend a lot of weekends by the swimming pool. When not at the pool, I’m an avid sports fan….all things Baltimore and Virginia Tech. I love watching movies and binge-watching T.V. shows. I love golf, but it doesn’t love me.
What is something people would find surprising to learn about you?
Nothing comes to mind. I think what you see is what you get….nothing too surprising here!
What do you consider your best quality or trait?
I like to think that I’m just someone that people like to be around. Remaining positive and having compassion for others.
What is the best advice you ever received and from who?
One of our leaders at my former firm said “there is no right way to do the wrong thing”….that has always stuck with me in my day to day life.
If you could be a superhero what would be your superpower?
I’m not a big fan of traveling in a car or plane for an extended period of time so if I could have a transporter system like in Star Trek that would be pretty cool.
What is your favorite food?
My family and I were having this conversation the other night at the dinner table…what would your death row meal be? (I know, you should hear some of the conversations around this dinner table)…anyway….being from Baltimore I’d have to say a good Maryland crab cake would be up there or a bowl of Maryland crab soup would be right there as well.
