Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I grew up in Fishersville, VA, but most people don't know where it is, so I usually say I'm from the Charlottesville area.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active by running, hiking, playing pickleball, and walking or playing with our three dogs. Whenever possible, I also love to travel.
I enjoy reading memoirs. My favorites include Educated, The Glass Castle, and West by West. These books are good reads.
Ireland and the Pacific Northwest are the next destinations on my travel bucket list. I want to revisit Ireland to explore its landscapes, historic sites, and culture. Additionally, I'm eager to hike in the Pacific Northwest, taking in the region's scenery.
What is one food you can't live without and why?
I'm a breakfast person, so I would say eggs & bacon.
Why did you choose a career in public accounting and what do you enjoy most about it?
I chose a career in public accounting for the variety and challenge it offers. I enjoy the unpredictability of not knowing what client needs may arise each day.
