BE's Internship and Externship Program
Internship programs are a great way for college students to get a head start by developing the necessary skills to succeed in the accounting industry. These programs allow students to gain valuable experience in the accounting field and better understand what a career in accounting would look like. Our firm offers two programs for college students: a one-day externship or an internship.
During your internship, students work alongside accounting professionals, participate in client projects, develop new skills, and prepare for their careers. Many of our interns return for multiple seasons, steadily building on their skills and experiences, and can take on more complex projects and responsibilities during their subsequent internships. It is a great opportunity to obtain real-world experience and possibly secure a full-time associate position after graduation. We have two internship periods available: a tax season internship from January through April 15 and a summer season internship from May through August.
Our BE Ready externship program is a one-day immersive experience where students will observe the life of a CPA working in the public accounting industry. Over the course of the day, they learn about our organization and the culture at BE and experience a typical day at work.
The program includes:
• What working in Public Accounting is all about
• Networking opportunities with team members of all levels, including Partners
• Your first year in Auditing and Tax
• Meet and hear from BE clients
• The importance of company culture
• What taking the CPA exam is like
