Brown Edwards Announces Four New Partners

Brown Edwards, one of the leading regional certified public accounting firms in the mid‐Atlanta area, is pleased
to name four new partners.

Billy R. Robinson, CPA, CCIFP – Billy is located in the firm’s Harrisonburg (VA) office and is a member of the
Construction Financial Services Group. His assurance practice concentration is construction and real estate
related companies, family‐owned businesses, and governmental agencies. He has been recognized as a “Super
CPA” by a Virginia business publication as well as being named in the “Top 10 Business People – Under 40” by the
Shenandoah Valley Business Journal. Billy has earned the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional
and the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt designations. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Wise and is a
volunteer in several community organizations.
Harold L. Holstein, CPA, CMM – Harold works in the Charleston (WV) office where he serves a variety of business
entities including construction, oil and gas production, timber, and mineral extraction. He has extensive
involvement with multi‐state tax reporting, and is a frequent speaker on state and local taxation issues. Harold is
a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology and has achieved the Professional Certified Mineral Managers
designation through the National Association of Royalty Owners CMM program.
Christopher A. Banta, CPA, CFE – Chris is a member of the firm’s Governmental Financial Services Team and
works in the Roanoke (VA) office. He has a wide range of experience working with privately held companies, notfor‐
profits, electric cooperatives, governmental, and municipal entities. He also is a Certified Fraud Examiner
which allows him the opportunity to provide fraud, litigation, and expert witness support to clients. A Virginia
Tech graduate, Chris serves in several positions within Roanoke community organizations.
John C. Hash, II, CPA‐ John is based in the Roanoke (VA) office and is a member of the firm’s Education and Notfor‐
Profit Services Team. He has diversified audit and consulting experience with particular expertise serving
small private colleges and universities and other types of not‐for‐profit organizations. He also serves the
construction industry and truck and heavy equipment dealerships. John is a James Madison University graduate.
